A 2-5 player card game where each player chooses a villager and a sacred diety. Players create matches by collecting different cards to earn rank up tokens. The first player to reach the divine ranks wins.
Have you ever wished for power? The power to help others, or to defeat your enemies, become rich, to do whatever you wished? Well now you can. The gods are listening. You need to earn their favor by completing tasks for them. With each completed task you will be rewarded and promoted. The higher the rank you hold the closer you are to reaching the gods in heaven. If you manage to succeed the gods will grant you divine power to fulfill your dreams and achieve your heart’s desire. Can you make it to heaven before the other villagers? Or will you be left in the dust while others claim that power for themselves?
The final version of my card game study during my time at Fullsail University. During this project I drafted 5 versions, playtesting in small groups and implementing quick updates to create a fluid gameplay experience.
This project is a take on classic matching card games with a few extra mechanics and story elements to give new life to this childhood classic card game.
A 2 player board game where players draw and place colored tiles in specific patterns to reach the other side of the board. Beward the Kraken spots or lose a turn. The first player to reach land first, is the first to enter Valhalla and win the game.
Take up arms and race across the feral sea! Use your nautical prowress and viking courage to defy the mighty kraken! The call of the Viking is to conquer new lands and fall in great and glorious battle. So, to arms my brothers! Conquer the world and taste the sweet ales of Valhalla's halls!
The final version of my board game study during my time at Fullsail University. During this project I drafted 4 Tempero Ludum style Rulebook versions & 1 digital version. In this project I had a focus on recording playtesting results and predicting the probability of players winning based on different types of dice being used.
This project is inspired by norse mythology with a sinister twist. With the goal of the game being that the winning player "Reaches Valhalla", or in other words the afterlife by being the first ship to arrive to the new land, and the first to taste battle.
